We, more than 800 Physicians in the United States, are products of Kurnool
MedicalCollege, the institution that had helped us to evolve into what
we are today and made us successful professionals and elite members
of this society of our adopted land. Kurnool Medical College Alumni
of North America (KMC-ANA) was formed in 1982 with a goal to bring together
all the Physicians in USA from Kurnool Medical College to advance Medical
and technological exchange with our alma mater and also to promote friendship
and camaraderie amongst ourselves. KMC-ANA is registered in the state
of Missouri as a not for profit organization under section 501(C) (3)
of the Internal Revenue Code. We had adopted constitution and bylaws
for KMC-ANA and governance has been conducted accordingly.
Majority of our KMC Alumni came to USA in the 1970’s and the
younger generation of physicians came recently. We are able to gather
the addresses of about 500 KMC graduates. We need to trace and reach
out the rest, most of whom are younger generation. We are planning
to appoint a membership committee representing various batches particularly
the recent graduates.
Most of our annual meetings were designed to conduct educational
and business activities. We sent medical equipment and books to KMC/GGH
periodically over the years. Some of our CME meetings were conducted
at Kurnool Medical College in association with the local faculty.
Scholarships have been established on behalf of KMC-ANA at our Medical
school. Unfortunately, last few years had been dormant for our alumni
since its inception during 80’s.We would like to rejuvenate
our activities to accomplish our set goals and welcome your input,
